Our main challenge in this project was to regenerate this site by making a CBD zone.

Thessaloniki, though a coastal city, has limited public beaches. Engaging with citizens revealed the city’s vibrant nightlife. This inspired us to extend the city into the project, creating a continuous urban experience. Our design integrates ramps and pathways that connect the urban fabric with the waterfront, offering spaces for social engagement and scenic experiences.

Strategically, the tallest structure serves as a landmark, symbolizing the city’s dynamic nature. Additionally, Thessaloniki’s universities attract students, yet co-working and innovation spaces remain scarce. This project includes shared workspaces, innovation hubs, labs, libraries, and dormitories, fostering a collaborative professional ecosystem.
